To kickstart mass LSD vaccination program, a simple Labsang Thrusel ceremony was conducted today at Mongar Dzongkhag. To have 80% coverage of vaccination, 4 teams of technical staff had been formed and will cover 17 geogs of Mongar Dzongkhag and are expected to complete vaccination by end of September 2023. Mongar Dzongkhag have 23000 heads of cattle population to be covered under the campaign.
The simple program had been attended by Dasho Dzongdag, Lam, Dzongrab, Dzongkhag Sector heads, few Gups and other relevant officials like BFDA and Bazaar Thuemi
