The three days Workshop/Training on Gewog level database development to GAO, Gewog RNR officials, Health and Education was completed on 12th December 2014. The training was organized by National Statistic Bureau with financial support from UNFPA.
Objectives of the Training:
1. To facilitate the M & E of performance agreement, AWP, and FYPs
2. To identify the statistical focal person at the gewog
3. To standardise the data collection format at the gewog level
4. To create linkage between the gewog sectors and the gewog administration including data flow time frame
The Indian Ambassador, His Excellency, Gautam Bambawale met with the Mongar Dzongkhag officials today, the 12/12/2014. Speaking to the gathering, His Excellency said that India’s support to Bhutan will continue on mutual interest and that both countries will benefit from the developmental supports. His Excellency also said that Bhutan has a very good education and health policies. Besides the normal support, His Excellency said that India will henceforth support in providing scholarship for the brightest student to which the dzongkhag was asked to submit the name list to the embassy. The short meeting was also attended by Venerable Lam Neten, Dasho Drangpon and SP, RBP, Mongar.
This has reference to SBD issued and published in the website /media for the work of Construction of Conference Hall, Classrooms, Kitchen & Dining Hall Buildings at Dremetse Dzong under Mongar Dzongkhag. In this regard we would like to inform all the perspective bidders that in ITB 1.1 and ITB 16.1 & 16.2of the contract document under Section-II of Bidding Data Sheet, the terms and conditions are mistake.
The 52nd Annual Mongar Tshechu begins today. During the tshechu the government, private, corporate offices and schools remains closed. The tshechu will end on 1st December 2014.
